We’re looking for an experienced software engineer who can do more than just write great code.
In this role, you’ll help establish the foundation of our engineering efforts, shaping both the technical direction and the culture of the team. You’ll mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering collaboration and encouraging ownership, while driving forward key projects with an unwavering focus on quality.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that our systems are not just functional, but highly scalable, reliable, and maintainable. You understand the importance of best practices, even under tight deadlines, and you’re deeply committed to building products that uphold availability and performance. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving complex, business-critical problems and is excited about shaping a product, culture, and team from the ground up.
You’ll get to take part in building a new line of payments products that heavily impact and disrupt the payments space. You’ll get to work with smart, experienced engineers building multi-layered products while gaining deep understanding of the “behind-the-scenes” of the world’s web payments infrastructures.

At Forter, we have embraced a hybrid work model that combines the benefits of in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. As part of this exciting approach, Team members are invited to work from the office at least 2 days per week.
