Position Summary

As a Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Payments Risk Product through strategic partnerships and integrations. You will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing partnerships that meet the strategic product objectives. 

You will be located in Athens and will be part of the Etraveli Group's Fintech Organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assess company requirements with respect to the Payments Risk Management Product to define, plan and act for the availability of the necessary third party ecosystem.
  • Source and evaluate potential partnership opportunities that align with the Payments Risk Management product strategy.
  • Own the commercial responsibility and lead contract negotiations and execution with potential partners.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams assess the feasibility of integrations and ensure successful launches.
  • Hold and be responsible for the commercial relationship with existing suppliers.
  • Ensure relevant controls are implemented and monitoring is performed so that the contracted commercial expectations are met.
  • Be the relevant market expert with respect to available solution alternatives, as well as their technology and value proposition. Understand the differentiations among suppliers to construct an optimum sourcing strategy.
  • Translate strategic objectives to business initiatives that are reflected on data-driven, results-oriented business cases.

Requirements

  • Degree preferably in Business subject areas or Finance, Engineering, Statistics 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product partnerships, business development, or a related role within the technology sector
  • Knowledge of digital payments and fraud prevention within the e-commerce environment will be considered a strong asset.
  • A proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and managing successful partnerships
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to independently navigate through complexities and provide clarity to a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders in order to achieve commitment towards results
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills & excellent command of the English language
  • Strong numerical & organizational skills combined with business understanding
  • Data driven/360 view thinking along with strong critical, analytical and investigation skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to take ownership in a fast growing environment
  • Ability to prioritize, effectively handle multiple projects under a minimum supervision and honor deadlines
  • Ability to act proactively, take initiatives and pay attention to detail
  • High level of responsibility & integrity combined with eagerness to work in a multicultural, international environment subject to continuous changes and multiple priorities
