Job Description:
- Test payment processing systems: Develop and execute test plans to verify the functionality, security, and performance of payment processing systems, includes online payment gateways.
- Identify defects and bugs: Analyze test results to identify defects, bugs, and errors in payment processing systems and report them to the development team.
- Validate payment processing flows: Test payment processing flows, including authorization, capture, and refund transactions, to ensure that they are executed correctly and securely.
- Comprehensive payment data reporting: Timely and accurate reporting of data used for payments. (Includes: user ID, amount, transaction ID, amount, and any additional relevant information.)
Requirements
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of payment processing systems: Knowledge of how payment processing systems work, including card payment processing, online payment processing, and offline payment processing.
- Programming skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Test automation skills: Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Agile testing methodologies: Familiarity with agile testing methodologies.
- Communication skills: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development teams, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot defects in the payment processing system.
- Attention to detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure that defects are identified and reported accurately.
- Time management skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet testing deadlines.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Experience in testing payment processing systems or similar financial systems is preferred.
- Experience working with agile testing methodologies and test automation frameworks is desirable.
