About the Role
The Payments Business Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on client payment setups, processes, and transactions across both internal and external systems. This position involves identifying issues, uncovering trends, and using data to support operational improvements. The analyst will collaborate closely with key stakeholders and functional teammates to align business strategies, prioritize projects, and ensure successful implementation.

Compensation ranges are determined by role and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the pay range for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
What You'll Do
- Analyze payment processes, client setups, and transaction flows on internal and external systems.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure seamless integration and process optimization.
- Execute modeling and analytics required to synthesize large data sets and produce concise outputs that deliver reporting, analyses, business insights, recommendations, risk evaluations, and/or conclusions to leadership.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment on initiatives and projects.
- Communicate analytical findings and proposed improvements to internal teams and clients.
- Monitor payment operations and identify issues, trends, and potential areas for improvement.
- Aid in developing reporting and financial performance management frameworks, helping to define key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performance.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing efforts based on business needs and deadlines.
- Contribute, when necessary, to Payment Processing Analyst activities
What You Bring

- Proficiency in data analytics and modeling

- Strong communication skills, with experience interacting with diverse stakeholder
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferably in Data Science otherwise in Finance or Business
- 2 years experience in SaaS merchant processing including eCommerce preferably in a payment business operations function
- Working knowledge of end-to-end merchant journey from boarding to transaction monitoring including Card and ACH payments cost-of-acceptance driver
