Patron Associate, Budget & Emarketing

The Patron Associate is responsible for providing administrative support for the Patron Office. This includes providing telephone customer service to Met Patrons, as well as an array of administrative duties related to coordinating solicitation efforts and administering the benefits of the Patron Program.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Field inquiries from Patrons via the Patron Office telephone line and Patron Program email inbox and assist Patrons with their day-to-day needs, providing warm/courteous service.
  • Assist with daily gift booking. (Stocks, wires, anonymous gifts, pending checks)
  • Facilitate solicitation and fulfillment emails to donors
  • Check for accuracy and mail Patron acknowledgement letters
  • Coordinate membership upgrade emails.
  • Maintain exclusive membership web content.
  • Ensure accuracy of memberships and related activities within our fundraising database.
  • Assist in monthly Patron billing process
  • Assist with Patron activities/events and Backstage Tour check-in when needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Patron and Young Associate Giving.
  • Other duties as required that serve to best support the Patron Office team.

Skills and Qualifications

  • BA degree and 2 year + experience in a customer service or administrative role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with the public.
  • Pleasant and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.  Experience with fundraising database such as Tessitura (preferred) or Raiser’s Edge.
  • Enthusiastic, detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Occasional weekend or evening events required

Physical Demands

  • Energetic team player who works well with all personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work in-office 4 days a week.
