Are you passionate about IT infrastructure and excited about working on interesting projects?
 
We are looking for an impactful and dedicated Patching Coordinator for our Calgary branch to act as the primary point of contact for all patching needs! You will play a key role in the delivery of service excellence to our clients by providing daily support to their environments.

A Day in the Life:

  • Act as the primary liaison between Long View’s patching team and your assigned Clients
  • Attend Client change enablement and management advisory board meetings
  • Coordinate and organize quarterly and monthly patching of systems
  • Coordinate and organize Ad-hoc patching activities in the event of zero-day vulnerabilities
  • Create and maintain documentation to support patch management activities
  • Maintain a patching schedule in coordination with Client business and IT system stakeholders
  • Act as the primary communication conduit with Client business and IT system stakeholders before, during, and after patching management activities take place
  • Maintain governance and reporting data to showcase patching status across assigned Client
  • Coordinate the scheduling of resources for the patch management team
  • Work closely with your Team Lead and Manager to ensure there is adequate resourcing to carry out patching activities within approved change management windows
  • Participate in group events and discussions with clients, vendors, and other systems consultants
  • Follow the Long View and, where applicable, clients' change management methodologies
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements, Service Level Targets, and Service Level Objectives are met
  • Be available to assist in resolving impacting client situations
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of project analyst and/or coordination experience in a large, complex environment
  • 1+ year of general information technology experience
  • Experience with budgeting, governance, and meeting coordination
  • Experience developing and maintaining all project documentation including schedules, status reports, budgets, resource plans, and SharePoint sites
  • Experience with SCCM issues related to Patch Management, SQL Patching and Patching Automation
  • Strong understanding of Patch Lifecycle Management for Windows / Linux
  • Excellent consulting and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in fast-paced environments and outstanding time management skills
  • Ability and willingness to facilitate issue resolution, change management, risk management, quality/scope management, and project decisions as directed by the Project Manager
