To support our on-going ambition to be recognised as a strategic partner by government, councils, and other key stakeholders we have a requirement to build on our current business development resource and are now seeking a Partnerships Executive to join our team in Belfast. Primarily you will develop the relationships and pipeline that will enable us to meet our ambition which includes building cross border opportunities. Your core focus will be the requirement to  create and deliver a pipeline of revenue opportunities which will include meeting agreed sales targets. Stakeholder management, a level of sales experience and a collaborative can-do attitude are the integral parts of this role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (Duties)

  • Support the successful delivery of the Territory Plan to secure revenue, partnerships and impact.
  • Identify and qualify new sales leads and prospects with a view to development and delivery of a commercial pipeline.
  • To  close commercial deals and meet agreed sales targets.
  • Manage existing sales leads and develop and enhance customer relationships before, during and after the conclusion of agreements/contracts.
  • Stakeholder relationship management on accounts across the public sector, industry and academia. 
  • Support  the (NI BD)  team in tasks such as the preparation of client meetings and presentations. Help to clarify their needs and requirements. Devise solutions and assess their feasibility and practicality. 
  • Work to embed Digital Catapult into the region through the development of strong partnerships and client relationships. 
  • Work with Universities to identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Be an ambassador for Digital Catapult.

Requirements

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Experience)

  • You should have a high level of experience in a sales environment, sourcing prospective stakeholders and working with them to identify needs, influence purchase decisions and enhance future business opportunities 
  • Highly motivated and familiar with the sales environment, process and working tio targets. 
  • The ability to influence stakeholder attitudes, decisions, and actions for mutual benefit.
  • Experience in business research and analysis to support delivery of the territory plan
  • A good level of understanding and interest in advanced digital technologies: e.g. adoption, benefit to industry, challenges would be advantageous
