We are seeking a Partnerships Director to join our Commercial team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, managing, and expanding strategic partnerships that align with Blackbird.AI’s growth strategy. Your focus will be on driving revenue, enabling product development, and cultivating partnerships that support our expansion into new markets, with a strong emphasis on Strategic Communications and Enterprise Risk solutions.

As a Partnerships Director you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Blackbird.AI’s product offerings and strategically align them with the needs of partners’ customers, focusing on brands, agencies, and public sector clients.
  • Leverage your Social Listening/Media Analytics industry expertise to enhance solution selling, ensure strategic alignment, and drive growth across multiple segments.
  • Manage and grow brand risk ecosystem. Leading sales enablement with partners, identifying new GTM strategies, collaborating on mutual product development to drive revenue expansion.
  • Develop new partner use cases to expand partnerships to new adjacent verticals. Work closely with the Sales Team to ensure a healthy pipeline of opportunities and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners, negotiating agreements and managing contracts to maximize value for both Blackbird.AI and its partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of partner offerings and execution of joint initiatives. 
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential partner developments to drive new opportunities.
  • Represent Blackbird.AI at industry events, building brand awareness and fostering new partnerships.

Requirements

What you’ll bring:

  • 4-6 years of experience in enterprise software, SaaS sales, or partnership management in fast-paced, competitive markets.
  • At least 3 years of experience in social listening and/or media analysis, with the ability to apply insights to enhance partnership strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in selling complex SaaS solutions to senior executives, including heads of Brand, Trust and Safety, Communications, Investor Relations, ESG, Compliance, or Employer Relations.
  • Deep expertise in Strategic Communications for both public and private sectors, with an understanding of sales processes and business drivers.
  • Familiarity with the Enterprise Risk space and the unique challenges faced within different market sectors.
  • Proven track record in building and managing partnerships that contribute to revenue growth and business impact.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities, with experience negotiating and managing partnership agreements.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a B2B startup environment.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity solutions.
  • Active or previous security clearances.
  • Early stage SaaS startup experience a plus
