Scope of Role

Reporting to the Content Partnerships Manager, Marketplace-Talent (Career Hub). This position will be responsible for driving user acquisition and growing Monthly Active Users (MAU). This role involves identifying and executing strategic partnerships, conducting market research, and implementing initiatives that attract and retain users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the edtech landscape and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research: Understanding user needs, preferences, and trends within the edtech sector, and using this information to advise business development strategies. 2
  • Establishing partnership Development: Identify and manage strategic partnerships with schools, educational institutions, influencers, and other stakeholders to drive Career Hub active usage.
  • Developing and implementing user acquisition strategies: Growing the number of MAU on Career Hub.
  • Crafting and managing 360° partnership plans: Encompassing various collaboration aspects such as co-marketing, content creation, joint events, and cross-promotion.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships: Ensuring ongoing engagement and support from key partners and stakeholders.
  • Supervising and analyzing performance: Analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to user acquisition and engagement, and areas of improvements.
  • Collaborating with internal teams: Ensuring alignment on business objectives and user acquisition goals by working with the growth, marketing and content curators Key Metrics
  • Number of signed and driven strategic partnerships
  • Career Hub MAU (If scope is tied to top funnel metrics)
  • Engagement metrics, she should also contribute to quality MAUs (i.e. users who come in and take an action)

Skills, Experience and Proficiencies

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and capability to do market research and analyze data
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Knowledge of the digital media landscape and content distribution channels
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation and licensing agreements is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint Desired Values
  • Believe in seeking high to deliver world-class results and yet, not forgetting to care for others
