We are a tech startup that is being incubated in the technology lab of
e.construct and we employ technology to empower and eventually transform engineering. VAES’s mission is to reduce the amount of raw materials we design in our buildings and bridges by using optimization algorithms and machine learning.
VAES consists of a team of software developers, civil engineers, machine learning experts, architects and graphic designers that builds tools that engineers can use to design and manufacture the next generation of cities.
Business Development and Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Perform market research into potential executives and companies to meet during the Director’s visits to KSA or UAE.

Work with research associates to:
- A) Identify opportunities for product amplifications and growth, as well as potential partners, clients, and investors.
- B) Identify conferences for directors to speak at and assist with applications and materials.
- C) Perform in-depth research on potential investors to tailor presentations and pitches accordingly.
- Register VAES or e.construct on relevant platforms along with associated pre-qualifications and other documents needed (such as PIF, Diriyah, or RTA, etc).
- Survey market to identify key potential clients for partnership as well as critical information on project status and key stakeholders.
- A) If a subscription to a business intelligence platform is acquired, this role will fully manage extracting the right/relevant information on projects.
Production, Case Studies and Marketing:
- Prepare summary presentations on projects/proposals, including:
- A) Extracting relevant data that impacts commercial decisions such as the size of the project (in sqm of built-up area
- B) Extracting relevant information that describes the project including architectural and structural drawings
- Build databases that can be easily used to produce proposals and other materials when needed.
- Supervise & enhance production activities through crafting proposals and polishing presentations.
- Work with the creative team to generate client stories & impact reports.
- Ensure that client presentations are compelling, clearly demonstrate the added value of savings, and effectively communicate the outputs of our software to the client.
Contractual and Templating Client Process
- Adopt a process-oriented approach, which involves tracking and helping the director in advancing a proposal from initial contact to a signed Letter of Award (LOA).
- Support the biweekly call with PMs on the status of proposals and updates.
- Assist director with MOUs/NDAs and scopes, thoroughly read contractual items, and point out discrepancies from template MOUs/NDAs.
- Assist in creating and sending proposal documents from templates.
- Centralize all data on Netsuite (our ERP).
- Update proposal scope templates constantly to maintain an up-to-date database of proposals and scopes
Technology/Product Roadmap:
- Own the client VAES dashboard platform: make sure that the VAES CSE engineering team and the creative team can upload our designs with the right information online. Give product feedback to developers to enhance the VAES platform.
- Ensure that our dashboard serves as the pivotal gateway connecting clients with the magic of VAES.ai technology and our expert engineers.
- Oversee and cultivate all production endeavors, including proposals, qualification documents, presentations, and other essential sales and marketing materials.
- Liaise between clients and internal teams, making sure that there is no disconnect if there are any escalations, or needs addressed.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or law.
- Strong communication skills especially written skills
- Prior experience in the AEC Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction industry or Construction management/ Legal is a plus.
- GCC Market Knowledge is a plus
- 3 - 5 hands-on experience in the field of engineering/architecture.
- Effective communication of technical concepts in engaging narratives and interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated abilities in supporting leadership, based on a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving and deep experience with project management tools and methodologies.
