Partner & Technology Account Manager - Remote

ULTRA MOBILE is seeking a talented Partner & Technology Account Manager to join the Plum Team! Individual reports to Technology & Account Manager II. Role is remote - must reside in the United States.

Plum is Ultra Mobile’s Wholesale division which provides a variety of services to other businesses who require wireless connectivity. Plum’s clients range from companies looking to become a full MVNO to those looking to enable a data connection for their IoT-based products.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Partner and Technology Account Manager, Plum you are the primary day-to-day contact for Plum’s MVNO and Solutions accounts and are responsible for maximizing performance and ensuring technical readiness for assigned accounts. You will work closely with the client and represent their interests with Plum/Wholesale internal teams including PMO, Product, Finance, and Engineering, as well as, MVNEs (if applicable).

Your usual day of awesomeness includes:  

  • General account management including but not limited to:
    • Partner setup/onboarding
    • Ongoing operational support
    • Forecasting
    • Monitoring distribution and compliance
    • Product discussions
    • Business reviews
    • Relationship building
  • Responsible for Platform availability (as applicable) to the partners.  Act as liaison with internal departments.
    • Responsible for knowing “What” our system can do technically, explaining it to partners; provide/create technical documents and guides as needed.
  • Coordinate activities and onboarding projects between partner and internal teams as necessary.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled communications with customers to review overall customer health, proactively identify issues, and provide information and education on best practices and new releases.
  • Schedule and orchestrate quarterly business reviews between clients and leadership.
  • Ensure all technical needs/issues of the client are being worked on effectively and communicate back to the account with regular updates.  Serve as POC for all partner needs
  • Advocate on behalf of the clients with internal stakeholders with business cases.
  • Train partners on the various features and services available.
  • Keep strict confidentiality between clients and business communications with an eye toward compliance.
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts to ensure that we follow them and that the MVNO follows them.
  • Translate and communicate highly technical requests and solutions between our customers and the internal team.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and multiple relationships within those accounts.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of Partner/Technical Accounts experience.
  • Critical thinking skills with an aptitude for problem solving.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Experience with ticketing platforms such as Jira/Atlassian.
  • Troubleshooting skills for all applications; ability to identify issues and find solutions.
  • Customer Oriented with a friendly, upbeat attitude to effectively build rapport with customers.
  • Experience using a robust ESP (*Braze, Hubspot, Klavio, etc) - Preferrable Salesforce Experience.
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite and G Suites.
  • Communication/Presentation Skills.
  • Relationship Building.
  • Time Management/Organizational Skills.
  • Experience using analytics tools (i.e Data Dog, Elasticsearch, etc).
  • Comfortable manipulation SQL queries.
  • Comfortable using, documenting, debugging, and explaining API use cases internally as well as externally.
  • Travel As Required.

In support of the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the range of starting pay for this role is $100,000 - $125,000.  This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location.  We also offer a variety of benefits including health, disability insurance, 401 (k), flexible spending accounts, EAP, education reimbursement, parental leave, unlimited vacation, bonuses, and company paid holidays.  The specific programs available will vary depending on state, start date, and employment type.
