As a Partner Operations Manager at Zopa Bank, you will play a crucial role in managing relationships with debt purchasers and other specialist UK Recoveries suppliers. Reporting directly to the Head of Partner Operation, you will be responsible for completing due diligence, ensuring compliance, and optimizing performance across several UK supplier partnerships. 
 
You will be willing to travel within the UK to visit suppliers as required.

A day in the life:

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with debt purchasers and other specialist suppliers
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all supplier-related inquiries and issues
  • Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges that arise in supplier relationships
  • Work closely with suppliers to resolve disputes, discrepancies, or operational issues in a timely manner
  • Escalate critical issues to the Head of Partner Operations and other relevant stakeholders as needed.
  • Supplier Oversight: Conduct thorough due diligence assessments on potential and existing suppliers to evaluate their capabilities and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements
  • Develop and implement compliance frameworks to ensure all supplier activities adhere to industry standards and legal obligations
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic audits to mitigate risks and maintain compliance
  • Reconcile Supplier invoicing for accuracy.
  • Performance Optimization & continuous Improvement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving supplier performance and efficiency
  • Implement strategies to enhance the quality of services provided by suppliers while optimizing costs
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure supplier performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to Debt Purchase and other specialist recoveries suppliers.

About you:

  • Proven experience in supplier management, procurement, or vendor management within the financial services industry 
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and risk management principles
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supplier management software.
