The Role

We're seeking an ambitious Partner Manager for Spain and France to join the Strategic Partnerships team in our Barcelona office. Reporting to the Team Manager for Partnerships, your core responsibility will be to evolve and innovate our existing partnerships, as well as identify and evaluate potential partners for our marketplace. You'll nurture and expand these strategic relationships, ensuring they deliver ongoing value and align with our business objectives.

You will take ownership of each partnership from its inception to launch, and ensure ongoing engagement and continuous development. By implementing creative partner programs, marketing campaigns, new integrations, and other innovative strategies, you'll be instrumental in driving both partnership growth and hitting key business metrics. This role requires a proactive mindset, focusing on both expanding current partnerships and identifying new opportunities to push the boundaries of what's possible within our ecosystem.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage and maintain direct relationships with our partners, ensuring they evolve and deliver maximum value for TravelPerk.
  • Identify and implement new partnerships that drive strategic growth and impact key business metrics such as conversion, revenue, and margins.
  • Drive pipeline, ensuring partners generate high-quality leads, accelerate opportunities and drive sustainable revenue growth
  • Provide ongoing analysis and reporting on partner performance, conducting revenue assessments and identifying areas for growth.
  • Research and evaluate the potential of new partnerships, assessing their strategic fit and impact on TravelPerk’s overall business goals.
  • Negotiate partner agreements and manage contract renewals, ensuring mutual benefits and alignment with business priorities.
  • Facilitate new partner onboarding by coordinating with internal teams on training, communication, and launch strategies.
  • Schedule regular touchpoints with partners to nurture, innovate and expand the relationship.
  • Drive partner growth through business prioritisation, financial assessment, capability development, long-term strategic planning and ongoing management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Legal, to advocate for partner interests while aligning with TravelPerk’s goals.
  • Operate autonomously, balancing execution skills, strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Previous experience working in strategic business sales and/or partnerships experience, preferably with a successful track record of managing business relationship and cross-functional projects
  • Familiarity with HR and Expense management landscape (nice-to-have)
  • General understanding of connectivity and API integrations
  • Experience building and managing relationships with senior leaders, both internal and external
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various teams, managing initiatives at scale and delivering results
  • Languages: fluent in Spanish, French and English.
  • Effective communication: strong communicator who can adapt messaging for different audiences and levels, across a variety of channels.
  • Sales and negotiation expertise: can negotiate high-impact agreements that align with both partner and business goals.
  • Results-oriented: driven by a strong appetite for business impact/execution, consistently focused on maximizing opportunity and achieving critical objectives.
  • Analytical and data-driven decision making: ability to leverage data insights and analytics to build partner strategy and action plans, ensuring decisions are backed by clear and accurate data.
  • Self-starter: takes ownership, initiative, and proactively looks for ways to improve processes, relationships and results.
  • Organisation and time management: highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with structure and rigour.
