The Role

Our Partnerships programme is crucial to the long term success of GoCardless. You’ll be part of an energetic and close-knit team of Partner Account Managers whose mission is to grow GoCardless via third parties at scale.

You’ll help to build and grow partnerships with software platforms across multiple verticals, from accounting and invoicing to health and fitness. You’ll work with partners at every step of the partner lifecycle, guiding them all the way from how to improve their integration, to how best we can take it to market together.

What excites you

  • You’ll love learning about and building effective partner account plans to identify and prioritise both strategic goals and short term initiatives
  • Build go-to-market partner plans for high potential partners, including identifying opportunities, securing commitments and working with the wider team to execute agreed plans
  • Work closely with external and internal product teams to identify and deliver product development initiatives to support and drive growth
  • Working with Solutions Engineering and Product teams to build best-in-class technical solutions and continually improve existing integrations
  • You’re comfortable with wearing many hats! Working cross functionally within GoCardless to develop and execute against growth plans (sales-team, customer success, marketing), whilst also building your network within your assigned partners

What excites us

  • Experience in partner management, channel sales or ecosystem management, ideally in a B2B tech environment
  • You are comfortable learning a highly technical product. Whilst you won’t need to code, we will expect you to enjoy working with product teams and translating our product in external conversation
  • You’re commercially astute and relish digging into data and using feedback from partners to identify growth opportunities
  • You have strong relationship and stakeholder management skills and can effectively work with a range of functions and teams (Product, Solutions Engineering, Sales, Marketing)
  • A natural project manager, able to coordinate cross functional resources and balance competing priorities.
  • Ideal: You have experience working within the payments industry
