Figtree Veterinary Clinic is looking for a part-time vet to join our team! This position is suitable for both experienced veterinarians, and exceptional new- or recent grads who strive for best practice.

We aim to support work/life balance, with 30-minute consults to enable you to practice to a high standard of care, regularly scheduled breaks, and catch-up and emergency slots to make sure you leave on time. There are no after-hours or on-call requirements – all critical patients are referred to nearby emergency centres.

- Digital Radiography
- IM3 Dental Machine and Dental Radiograph
- Sonoscape Ultrasound
- Idexx Procyte One, Catalyst, Vetlab UA Analyser and Sedivue
- Comprehensive anaesthetic monitoring equipment including pulse-oximetry, ECG, oscillometric BP & capnography
- Isofluorane anaesthetics
- Multiple IV fluid pumps
- Tonometry
- Separate dog and cat wards
Practice Hours
Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm
Currently closed weekends and Public Holidays
Our available shifts for a part-time vet range from 2-3 days per week, with the option in the future for short Saturday shifts on a shared roster - pending candidate preference. The case load is a mix of surgical and consulting for exclusively small animals. Salary is well above award and will be reflective of your skills and willingness to learn.
