Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical design principles and be eager to contribute to the development of innovative products. As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will work under the guidance of senior engineers to design, model, and test mechanical components and systems, while gaining hands-on experience in various stages of product development. This position is 6 months roughly 20 hours per week. Responsibilities:

Mechanical Design & Modeling:

Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings for mechanical components and systems.

Prototyping & Testing:

Assist in the design and development of prototypes and participate in the testing phase to ensure that products meet design specifications and standards.

Collaboration:

Work closely with senior engineers, designers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that designs align with project goals, timelines, and budgets.

Product Documentation:

Generate and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring all design changes are well-documented.

Design Optimization:

Evaluate and suggest improvements to existing designs, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.

Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting:

Assist in identifying and resolving issues that arise during the design, testing, and manufacturing phases.
