Part Time Finance and Operations Assistant

Infopro Digital Group are recruiting for a talented and motivated Finance and Operations Assistant to join our Sydney team within the Consumer Automotive Division , part of Haynes Group Limited, who sit within Infopro Digital’s Automotive division. Infopro is a global organisation with 4,000 employees based in 18 Countries and a turnover of €550 million.

This job is located in our offices in Sydney, NSW, Australia. It is anticipated that after a short period of training, the role can be hybrid with a mix of 2 days office-based and homeworking. This is a part-time role, 25 hour per week, shared over 5 working days and an initial 6-month contract with a view to the role becoming permanent.

The Consumer Automotive division consists of brands such as Haynes, Gregory, Clymer, and many more. Infopro is a global organisation with 4,000 employees based in 18 Countries and a turnover of €550 million.

This role involves assisting with financial administration, operational processes, and ensuring smooth day-to-day business functions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for accuracy, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing invoices and payments.
  • Monitor financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers regarding financial queries.

Operations Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support in managing the production of printed manuals.
  • Assist in procurement, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
  • Maintain and update operational policies and procedures.
  • Support logistical coordination for company projects and events.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in finance, administration, or operations is advantageous.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Microsoft).
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
