Join our dedicated team at Hamilton House Residential Care Service as a Part Time Cook. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing delicious, nutritious, and well-balanced meals for our residents, ensuring that their dietary needs and preferences are met. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and cook a variety of wholesome meals tailored to the dietary needs of residents.
- Ensure that food hygiene and safety standards are maintained at all times within the kitchen.
- Manage stock levels and maintain records of food storage and preparation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in ordering supplies and contribute to cost-effective menu planning.
- Work collaboratively with care staff to accommodate any special dietary requests.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate.
- Previous cooking experience in a care setting is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of dietary needs for elderly residents.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Hours:
Day shift required to include weekends on a rota - 3 day shifts per week circa 18-22 hours
Day shift times 7.30am - 13.30pm
£12 per hour
