Part-Time Community Outreach Support, Alpha Network Team
Do you believe that all students can achieve academic success? Are you passionate about connecting with families and supporting them as they help students reach new heights in learning? Staff at Alpha have the opportunity to create and safeguard opportunities for students in under-resourced communities while collaborating with a joyful team of educators committed to sending our scholars to college.
As a part-time Community Outreach Support role, you will help engage new families and register their students at one of Alpha’s four schools. This is a part-time position that is expected to work hours in the afternoon, evenings, and often on the weekend. The ideal candidate displays characteristics of a strong sales person, knows how to effectively communicate with others, and deeply believes in the no excuses/high expectations world of charter success. A growth mindset, customer service driven mindset and strong mission alignment will be the defining characteristics of successful applicants.
We are seeking passionate individuals who embody Alpha’s mission, vision and core beliefs: staff who believe that all students can learn, that our scholars belong in college, and that student growth is a reflection of the teacher’s practice. We are looking for team members who are reflective in their practice and are willing to engage in conversations around educational equity and inclusivity. We're committed to finding staff who value and amplify the diverse experiences of our staff and scholars and their families, and who care deeply about addressing the inequities that exist in education.
The starting pay rate for this role is $18.20/hour and goes up based on years of experience.
