Paraplanner/Client Services Manager

EMAPPLY is seeking an experienced Paraplanner/Client Services Manager to join a leading financial planning firm based in Australia, focusing on providing comprehensive financial planning services to their clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in writing financial plans and statements of advice.

Role: Financial Planner/Paraplanner

Location: Remote

Hours: 1:00am - 09:30am SAST FULL TIME

Salary: R20 000 - R35 000 per month based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and review financial plans.
  • Conduct cash flow modelling, investment research, and detailed financial analysis.
  • Write comprehensive advice documents tailored to client goals.
  • Manage and supervise a small team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and stay updated with financial regulations.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to assess progress and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide investment advice and manage client portfolios.
  • Prepare detailed reports and financial documentation.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals to provide comprehensive advice.
  • Attend client meetings, take notes, and handle complex queries.
  • Assist with client queries and exceed client expectations via phone or email.
  • Analyse products such as insurance and superannuation.
  • Maintain and update client records and financial data.
  • Develop strategies to meet clients' individual objectives and needs.
  • Write and prepare Statements of Advice and Records of Advice.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Work independently and within a team, assisting with complex tasks when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Paraplanner
  • Proficiency in Xeppo and Xplan and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Desire for responsibility and growth within the role
  • Expertise in cash flow modeling, investment research, and various financial products.
  • Strong ability to explain complex concepts.
  • Confident, proactive, outgoing and the ability to work independently.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects efficiently.
