Focus of the Role

The Currency Panel Support Specialist with German is part of GSC MM Currency Operations and works on GfK’s TV Audience Measurement (TAM) panel support for Germany (Panel Development). For over 30 years GfK is responsible for TV and Video Audience Measurement in Germany. Program planers from TV stations, producers of TV programs, marketers as well as media planners of brand manufacturers and agencies receive daily ratings from AGF Videoforschung, major client of GfK Media Measurement Germany, to evaluate broadcasts success.

In this role you will be working on supporting panel households for a TV audience research project as well as other methodological special projects. Documentation and quality management are important parts of your day-to-day work.

Key Activities

  • Support (telephone, e-mail) for participants of a media research panel
  • First level support for assistance with technical problems
  • Communication interface between panel households and internal/external specialist departments
  • Support in quality assurance – verify usage behavior (compliance)
  • Support further research to optimize data quality
  • Household data maintenance in specific software tools
  • Support in optimizing internal workflows

Required skills and knowledge

  • Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
  • Good English language skills, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office package (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Ideally, experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Ideally, technical affinity
  • Ideally, experience in support (telephone hotline)
