As part of the Product Assurance Management Section, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Guiding and monitoring the implementation of PA&S requirements by contractors in order to assess performance/effectiveness, participating in design reviews and directing the necessary preventive or corrective actions;
- Ensuring the implementation of the Space Segment PA&S Requirements baseline across the applicable Galileo Satellite Project;
- Supporting the process for evaluation and approval of contractors’
- waivers and deviations;
- Participating in the Boards established within the project for the disposition of Non-conformances / Failure Reviews, Test Reviews, etc.;
- Monitoring the integration and test activities with test witnessing, mandatory and key inspection points, configuration inspections and quality assurance audits;
- Supporting the definition of the formal acceptance requirements and conduction of acceptance reviews of all assigned contractual deliverable items;
- Ensuring the preparation of design trade-offs, analyses and reports using RAMS data to support project decisions;
- Supporting the approval process and monitoring the procurement of EEE parts, materials and processes and controlling the implementation of applicable requirements;
- Supporting launch campaigns as required;
- Supporting Security activities for space segment as appropriate;
- Supporting the maintenance of the Navigation Directorate QualityManagement System as required.
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Master’s degree in engineering discipline is required;
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience Product and Quality Assurance in the space sector; proven record of Product and Quality Assurance activities for spacecraft units;
- Excellent interpersonal skills are needed, together with a high degree
organizational and communication abilities, and comfortable with working in a diverse and multinational team environment.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
