The Role
We are seeking a P2P (Senior) Specialist to join our dynamic APAC Financial Shared Service Center team. As a key member of the business partner group, you will manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, overseeing activities from contract to payment settling, all while ensuring alignment with our global standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze cash requirement and perform funding activities
- Proceed payment for approved supplier invoices and employee expenses while adhering to supplier payment terms and ensuring all payment runs are reviewed and provided for sign-off by authorised bank signatories
- Handle and resolve internal and external queries such as payment rejection queries
- Follow-up and resolve bank reconciliation issues
- Write off unpresented cheques
- Analyse current processes and procedures to ensure best practices are implemented; ensure the Desk Top Procedure is up-to-dated
- Other duties as assigned
- Higher diploma or above education in accounting or related disciplines
- Ideally more than 1 year of accounts payable related work experience and have good knowledge and working understanding of all relevant processes
- Good skills in Excel, Word and Outlook are essential, experience in ERI system (Oracle & SAP) is preferred
- High level numeracy and reconciliation skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good command of both written and spoken English. Ability in any other Asian languages would be an advantage
- Able to perform multi-tasking and to work with minimum supervision, capable of working under pressure independently
- Demonstrate initiative to report the progress and suggest ways of improvement proactively
- Mature, a good team player
