In this position you will develop new business through direct sales and repair services of fluid process equipment in an existing and established territory within the Baton Rouge metro area. Our repair capabilities are considered the finest in the Gulf Region. You will be supported by our highly knowledgeable customer service team and supportive managers who will assist you in meeting and exceeding your sales goals. We seek an individual with a competitive mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
Experience, Education and Skills:
- 2 year technical, industrial and/or engineering degree OR any suitable combination of education, training and experience
- 2+ years of increasing technical sales experience selling service & repair for fluid process / fluid handling equipment / rotating equipment; experience with new equipment sales (fluid handling / pumps / seals / etc.) is a plus.
- Experience calling into chemical plants, refineries, and papermills is preferred.
- Ability to establish, build, and maintain business relationships.
- Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency is required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Overnight travel may be required
