As the Outbound Operations Manager, you’ll be the mastermind behind getting our products out the door smoothly and efficiently. From keeping tabs on merchandise to handling key reports, you’ll keep everything running like a well-oiled machine. You’ll be diving into spreadsheets, fine-tuning processes, and making sure training records are up to date. But it’s not all about the paperwork—you’ll be leading an awesome team, setting goals, creating schedules, and ensuring customer service is always on point. You’ll directly manage Operations Associates and an Operations Supervisor, helping them grow and hit new milestones. We’re big on innovation, teamwork, and thinking outside the box. What you’ll do
- Lead and inspire a team of Operations Associates, providing day-to-day guidance and support.
- Handle key management tasks like interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
- Coach and mentor the team on Outbound Operations and Inventory Control, ensuring everyone follows policies and procedures.
- Create, revise, and improve department processes to boost efficiency and performance.
- Present wins, challenges, and improvement strategies to senior leadership and network managers.
- Oversee pick, pack, and ship processes to ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time.
- Analyze daily performance data and make recommendations for process enhancements.
- Ensure safety standards are met through ongoing training and development.
- Manage team schedules, track vacation time, and update timekeeping reports.
- Audit and support logistics activities related to outbound shipments.
- Maintain and oversee the facility to ensure smooth operations and an organized environment.
What you'll need
- Ability to work Monday-Friday usually between the hours of 10:30am-8pm
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-4 years’ experience in a service-provider environment that requires self-management and multi-tasking.
- Experience working in a rapidly growing corporate environment.
- Experience with Forklift operation (stand-up fork lift preferred).
