Orthodox Minyan Coordinator at Boston University Hillel

Position Description: We are currently seeking an Orthodox Minyan Coordinator to support our Orthodox community. The primary responsibilities of this role include recruiting students to ensure we have a weekly Friday night minyan, as well as supporting Shabbat day activities, Jewish learning sessions, cholent gatherings, and holiday celebrations. The coordinator will also need to actively participate in these activities.

Hours: This position requires 5-10 hours per week while school is in session.

Compensation: $25 per hour

Requirements:

  • Commitment to Orthodox Jewish practices and values
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
