The right person for this position will be excited and willing to work non-traditional hours. During baseball season our players play six days a week and classes and life skills activities often take place during off field hours. Additionally, there will be opportunities to travel to the Dominican Republic, contributing to the alignment and development of LSE programming.

  • Support and facilitate life skills activities away from the ballpark, helping players develop key personal and professional skills for life on and off the field.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as tracking student progress, maintaining attendance records, and preparing educational materials.
  • Provide support to players enrolled in the high school program.
  • Brainstorm creative and innovative ways to provide educational opportunities for players outside the classroom.
  • Collaborate with education staff and coaches to ensure the academic and life skills needs of players are met.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, evenings and weekends.

  • Organized and detail-oriented with effective time management skills.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in teaching, tutoring, or working with athletes is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, sports-focused setting.

You will be required to answer the following question along with the submission of your application:
