Order Operations Analyst

This role is hybrid with 3 days in office (Krakow, Fabryczna Street) 

The Basics:

Tanium is adding to its world-class accounting and finance organization and is looking for a best-in-class Order Operations Analyst to join our growing Order Operations team. The position requires a well-rounded individual who has demonstrated the ability to deliver results in a high-growth, dynamic, and fast-paced environment. This is an interdisciplinary position responsible for global cash collections, order management, billing, and licensing. In this position you will partner closely with Deal Desk, Quoting Operations, Contracts, Revenue, Global Sales, Tax, and our finance teams. 

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for overseeing cash collection processes and proactively following up with partners and customers for timely receipt of payments.  
  • Generate and send dunning letters to partners and customers, maintaining communication on outstanding balances and facilitating resolution on outstanding payment disputes.  
  • Monitor, review and action all relevant mail inboxes daily  
  • Responsible for all aspects of order management, including new partner and customer account setup, sales order review, license delivery, and invoice processing using NetSuite and Salesforce  
  • Understand current policies and apply the policies to complex deal structures  
  • Process incoming license tickets, proof of concept requests, and enquiries relating to current and prospective customers.  
  • Establish strong relationships with Sales, Deal Desk, Quoting Operations, Contracts, Technical Account Management, Tax, Legal, and Revenue departments and become a subject matter expert with regards to Order Management and Licensing  
  • Work with business users and cross-functional teams to identify problems, process gaps and assist in on-going process improvements in order processing, deal closure, invoicing, and collections workflows  
  • Propose reasonable and creative solutions to improve workflows based on quantitative and qualitative analysis  
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting regarding key metrics for management review 

We’re looking for someone with:

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience required  
  • Full understanding of quote to cash process
  • Working knowledge of MS office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate fluently in English
  • High ethics and integrity
  • Positive demeanor that allows building relationships across the organization 
  • Attention to detail and ability to proactively manage their own work streams as needed  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment  
  • Ability to investigate and analyze problems using good judgment and determine solutions to resolve issues  
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in order fulfillment preferred  
  • Experience working at a software or subscription-based company highly preferred  
  • Salesforce, NetSuite and ServiceNow experience a plus
