The **Oracle Fusion HCM Specialist** is responsible for configuring, customizing, and supporting the Compensation, Core HR, and Absence Management modules within Oracle Fusion HCM. This role involves gathering business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems. The specialist will manage testing, user training, troubleshooting, and documentation, while also recommending system enhancements and staying updated with Oracle's latest features. A key aspect of the role is to optimize HR processes through effective use of Oracle tools like OTBI and OBI, ensuring smooth system operations and high user adoption. Familiarity with Fast Formulas is a plus for managing complex business rules within the HCM system.

Job requirements

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (business users, HR teams, IT) to understand business needs and gather functional requirements for Compensation, Core HR, and Absence Management.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for system configuration and customization.
  • Configure and customize the Oracle Fusion HCM modules (Compensation, Core HR, Absence Management) to align with business needs.
  • Implement necessary changes to workflows, reports, and user interfaces to optimize system usage and performance.
  • Develop and manage integrations between Oracle Fusion HCM and other enterprise systems (e.g., payroll, finance, third-party applications) to ensure seamless data flow and consistency across platforms.
  • Develop test plans, scripts, and scenarios for unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with the testing team and end-users to ensure that the configured system meets business requirements and functions as expected.
  • Design and deliver training sessions and workshops for end-users, focusing on the effective use of Oracle Fusion HCM modules.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions related to Compensation, Core HR, and Absence Management functionalities.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation, including functional specifications, business process flows, user guides, and training materials.
  • Ensure that all configurations, customizations, and integrations are well-documented for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in system upgrades and enhancements, working with the IT team to ensure smooth implementation and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Analyze new Oracle Fusion HCM features and functionality to recommend improvements or optimizations to existing processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle Fusion HCM features, industry best practices, and system updates.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements, leveraging Oracle tools (e.g., OTBI, OBI) and features to enhance HR operations and decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting issues related to the Compensation, Core HR, and Absence Management modules.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve system issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain Fast Formulas for configuring complex business rules within Compensation and Absence Management modules (if applicable).

  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, and training materials.
  • Upgrade and Enhancement: Participate in system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Best Practices: Stay updated with industry best practices and Oracle updates, and recommend improvements to optimize HCM processes.
