About the role - Who are you?
This role reports into the People Team, helping to foster a workplace experience that is in line with our culture and values, the Signal AI way. In this role, you will provide varied operational support for our Americas team and coordination support for our New York office. This person is someone who will consistently remain highly organized with strong attention to detail in a fast paced work environment.
Salary band: $70,000 - $75,000
What will you be doing?
- Management of day-to-day office support. Managing US office budget, ordering office supplies, responsible for the corporate credit card and receipt management, Health & Safety, travel arrangements, negotiating supplier quotes and liaising with the landlord etc
- Working with teams on varied projects including, events planning and creating materials for both internal and external use.
- Partner with the IT team on all technology needs for the US office including set-up for Company meetings, printers and equipment. This includes supporting basic IT setup for new starters.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to:
- Be a trusted partner to US leaders, VP People and the rest of the People team - handle highly sensitive material and information with discretion and confidentiality
- Have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks, projects, and workstreams assigned to you. Be willing to continuously challenge yourself, learn, and grow
- Be hyper-organized and have meticulous attention to detail: You’ll notice the small things and appreciate that they contribute to the bigger picture
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be comfortable with ambiguity and working in a scale-up environment - no two days look exactly the same
- Be tech savvy - experience of working with and managing first line support for multiple office technologies such as Zoom, Google suite etc
- Like many roles, you’ll need to context shift between different tasks and have the ability to prioritize work based on impact
- Thrive when things don’t go to plan, identify solutions and come up with a plan
