CIC Innovation Campus in Massachusetts is looking for a thorough individual to assist in the day-to-day kitchen operations within our commercial office space. Starting wage for this position is $20/hr for 40 hours/week. This role will have a consistent schedule on weekdays from 12-8pm. Applicants must be able to commit to working Monday-Friday. This role will be based out of our Boston site and may include infrequent visits to our Cambridge locations.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
You will join one of our community teams, which are composed of several full-time and part-time employees. The team works together to satisfy the day-to-day needs of our clients and ensure that the physical space is functional and organized. Your work will focus on maintaining multiple facets of our kitchens and preparing them to serve our clients daily. Some work will be independent, while at other times it will require collaboration with other CIC team members.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Daily restocking of assorted snacks and beverages.
• Stocking of general kitchen supplies like cups, napkins, dish soap, etc.
• Maintaining kitchen space to look neat and presentable to clients and guests.
• Running dishwashers and putting away clean dishware and utensils on a daily basis.
• Keeping inventory of kitchen supplies and snacks.
• Maintaining and organizing storage inventories.
• Daily maintenance and cleaning of coffee machines, as well as all kitchen surfaces and appliances.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repair of kitchen machines.
• Maintaining communication with supervisor and operations teams. Provide stakeholders with updates on kitchen status and any issues encountered.
• Building strong professional relationships with clients in the community.
• Performing all tasks in compliance with CIC policies and procedures.
• As needed and schedule permitting, assisting the Community Team with other office tasks such as tidying conference rooms and communal spaces.

YOU HAVE
• The ability to move boxes weighing up to 40 pounds (18kg), positioning them on wheeled carts and transporting them around our space, including on and off elevators and through doorways.
• The capacity to learn and engage with basic tech tools.
• The ability to work every weekday until 8pm.
