Operations Team Lead - Wolt Market

What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Responsible for the end to end store operations, from fulfillment to delivery in a group of our stores.

  • Focus on the continuous improvement of our operations. Key focus areas include: safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity.

  • Maintaining an ambitious and motivated team is one of your main responsibilities, while you also hire and train new store leaders.

  • Provide day to day leadership and guidance to store leaders and associates to optimize store operations and guarantee operational excellence - mentor, coach and help their day-to-day work

  • Review the demand forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to meet the overall store/country objectives.

  • Develop optimal store operations in your country together with the Operations Manager and other members of your team. Examples of your areas of responsibility could be workforce management, people compliance, collaboration with inventory and commercial teams, product initiatives and feedback

  • Workforce Management

    • Drive the creation of shift schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other change initiatives to support and enable store leaders to meet and exceed business targets.

    • Deliver inputs about bonuses and other reports for payroll and finance and for the store managers

    • Analyze data and present key insights: help WM Operations Team to track team-wide performance metrics to constantly improve the staffing predictions.

    • Work together with Store Managers & Operations Manager  to develop strategies and continuously optimize the labor forecasting, shift scheduling and performance management processes

    • Follow-up on productivity targets with Store Managers

 

  • Recruitment, onboarding and training coordination

  • Operations management experience in retail, distribution, hospitality or platform economy environments.

  • Great analytical skills. Excel skills are a strong recommendation.

  • Experience of leading teams in stores or in a similar field.

  • Full professional proficiency in English.

  • Ability to think and act fast operationally with an eye for detail.

  • A hands-on, proactive, practical, pragmatic attitude with resiliency for changes.
