Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. We are growing rapidly and are now looking for an Operations Team Lead in Czechia.
In the Operations Team, we focus on the courier partners: We ensure the right amount of courier partners to meet the order demand by constantly developing courier partner satisfaction and smooth, scalable processes.
The Courier Onboarding Team Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring that Wolt’s courier partners across Czechia and Slovakia are onboarded efficiently and effectively. As Wolt continues to expand its operations in these markets, the need for a standardized yet locally adaptable onboarding process has become essential. This role is responsible for leading a team across the two countries, ensuring that the process aligns with Wolt's regional objectives and supports the company’s growth.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing strategic onboarding plans that not only enhance the courier experience, but also contribute to operational efficiency and retention. Your leadership will be key in mentoring and guiding the onboarding teams, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed. You will work closely with regional and country managers to tailor onboarding strategies that meet local needs while maintaining consistency across the region.
Given the importance of compliance and risk management in the onboarding process, this role also requires a strong understanding of local regulations and the ability to integrate these into the onboarding strategy. Your ability to use data to drive decisions will be critical in continuously improving the onboarding experience and ensuring that Wolt remains a preferred partner for couriers in these markets.
What you’ll be doing:
Develop and implement strategic onboarding plans that align with growth objectives in Czechia and Slovakia.
Lead and mentor the onboarding teams in the countries, ensuring they are aligned with the overall strategy and equipped to execute their tasks effectively.
Ensure that onboarding processes are standardized across the two countries while allowing for local adaptations where necessary.
Regularly assess the performance of onboarding associates and the overall process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Collaborate with regional and country managers to ensure the onboarding strategy supports broader operational goals and address any country-specific challenges.
Develop and maintain a high-performing onboarding team by providing leadership, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
Use data and insights to drive strategic decisions, ensuring that the onboarding process is continuously optimized and aligned with business objectives.
Act as a key liaison between the onboarding team and other departments, ensuring that onboarding strategies are integrated with overall business operations.
Oversee the adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in the onboarding process, ensuring that all practices are compliant and that risks are managed effectively.
Fluency in English.
The role is based in Prague.
