Production Coordinator - Pulp Mill
Resource and team leader within a production unit in a participative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing processes and leading people in the pulp mill work unit.
- Adherence to safety, quality, environmental objectives and policies.
- Supporting and achieving department goals relevant to business objectives while abiding by personal and company values.
- Collaboration across mill departments to ensure material and production flow within the processes to meet customer needs.
- Supplier coordination and management meeting budget and quality requirements.
- Ensuring that customer expectations are met and exceeded – internal and external.
- Provides training and both technical and non-technical support for team members.
Technical Competencies:
- 3 years of supervisory experience,
- Degree in Pulp & Paper, Engineering, Business, Environmental or
- 10 years of operations experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Computer, communication, troubleshooting, analysis, and mechanical aptitude skills.
- Wood conversion and/or sulfite pulping experience desired.
- Wastewater Operator License desired.
- Successful experience in promoting a safe working environment.
