In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operations and drive the operational excellence for our growth initiatives with major platforms like Amazon SFP, Walmart Plus, B2B, and Retail. You will help manage day-to-day warehouse operations and order processing tasks that support Balsam’s partnerships with Marketplaces and other retailers, focusing on enhancing the efficiency and integration of our growth initiatives, which includes but is not limited to Marketplaces, B2B, Retail etc. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the main point of contact for coordinating these platforms’ operations, driving cross-functional efforts to optimize processes and improve operational metrics, and support efforts to launch new partnerships in the future. A successful candidate is not only curious but proactive in suggesting and implementing improvements. 

This full-time position reports to the Director of Operations and is expected to work in a hybrid model, which currently includes Tuesday and Wednesday in-office.

What you’ll do:

  • Enable Growth Operations: Actively support and optimize operations for Amazon SFP, B2B, and Walmart Plus, and other retail partnerships, ensuring operational strategies are aligned with business growth objectives. 
  • Operational Management: Oversee warehouse operations, from order processing to inventory allocation, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside various departments, leveraging cross-functional projects to enhance operational capabilities and support marketplace initiatives. 
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics to inform strategic decisions, improve operational workflows, and present findings to senior leadership to drive business decisions. 
  • Enhance process improvements by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, focusing on scalability and operational excellence for growth platforms. 
  • Facilitate the efficient movement of orders and inventory, coordinating with shipping carriers and platforms. 
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain and financial metrics to enhance shipping efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop expertise in specific operational processes vital to supporting major e-commerce platforms. 

What you bring to the table:

  • 2+ years of experience in operations, data analysis, or a related field, with a focus on retail or e-commerce growth initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree, in Business, Economics, Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage projects across diverse teams
  • A strong analytical approach to problem-solving and a detail-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivation and a proactive attitude towards challenges and opportunities

The base pay range for this position is: $57,000 to $68,000. Where an individual falls within that range will vary based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on candidate qualifications and experience, applicable skills, and other job-related factors. We benchmark our pay ranges against current external data sources and regularly review compensation for our team members.
