Operations Specialist for Propulsion Systems / Engines area
JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Upload part numbers for assigned vehicle families into corporate data systems.
*Process documentation on changes or modifications to components from assigned vehicle families (Change Notices) according to instructions from designated Product Engineer.
*Process work orders for laboratories / workshops according to tests defined from designated Product Engineer within validation plan.
*Request and submit purchase orders for Prototype parts acquisition, external testing, etc., required from Product Engineer.
*Create required documentation for component’s functional testing in assembly plants before implementation into normal production. (Production Evaluation Request).
*Coordinate parts shipping between supplier and assembly plant in order to perform Production Evaluation Requests.
*Release temporary of definitive approvals for part validation on assigned vehicle families. (Interim Approval Authorization).
*Gather all documentation regarding analysis and solving of functional and durability failures on components in assigned vehicle families. (Customer Problem Resolution Team, Customer Advocate Group "Tag" Quality Alert, E-CIMS, Expenses per unit sold y C/1000, Launch Indicators Issues).
*Lead release and approval of part development with suppliers according to “Source Package” process.
*Attend training and development plan in order to acquire required abilities and knowledge to comply with individual and team goals.
*Obtainment of product changes information, implementation dates, service and/or recall technical bulletins, Product Engineering standards, bill of material and Engineering graphs.
*Creation and approval of Tool Kick Off (TKO) request for parts on assigned vehicle families.
QUALIFICATIONS
*Bachelor’s Degree required in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechanical Administrator, Mechatronics, Electric, Electro-mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Environmental, Sustainability, Logistics, Business or related) or Business Management.
*Previous experience: Preferably 1-3 years in manufacturing industry and/or administrative or industrial project management, or recently graduated with experience as trainee in manufacturing industry.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Basic knowledge in: automotive vehicles and systems, assembly and manufacturing processes within the industry.
*Knowledge in Product Lifecycle Management and Project Management.
*Good skills in communicate and present ideas, as well as experience in basic software suites (Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Minitab etc.)
