The Role

As an Operation Specialist, you will act as universal operations support of branches within the area to support payroll-related activities. You will also be a secondary to payroll support, acts as manpower pool in filling in temporary vacancies in branches specifically CA or Tellering functions.

How you will contribute

  • Responsible for the implementation of payroll activities, such as:
    • Responsible for the implementation of payroll activities
    • Sorting of Payroll ATM Cards and PIN Mailers
    • Distribution of ATM Cards of payroll employees under W2R/Employee Banking arrangement at client’s site or in-branch
    • The Schedule of distribution is based on payroll client and SBC’s agreement i.e. maybe outside banking hours or graveyard shift
  • Ensure releasing of ATM cards and PIN mailers to the right payroll employees by checking the IDs presented, and by performing signature verification
  • Receive and perform signature verification of SBOL enrolment forms and CRF from payroll account holders and forward these to servicing branch or head office unit for processing
  • Man the SBC payroll pods at clients site and or assigned servicing area
  • May be assigned to other branches if necessary to perform functions related to payroll as may be determined by the Area Office
  • Performs duties and responsibilities of a Teller or Customer Advisor depending on the need of branch within a specified period, with priority given on servicing of payroll clients within the area of assignment
  • Safeguard User ID and password during branch assignment. This includes filing a request for deactivation of User ID/s on the last day of branch assignment
