Operations Research Analyst

Role Summary
As an Operations Research Analyst specializing in Renewal Operations, you will play a key role in optimizing our sales processes, maximizing revenue, and enhancing overall efficiency. You will utilize advanced analytical techniques, data-driven insights, and mathematical modeling to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategic solutions. 

What You Will Do

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales and communications data, including performance metrics, trends, and customer behavior, to identify key insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop mathematical models and algorithms to optimize communications, renewal processes, resource allocation, pricing strategies, and forecasting effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Development, to align strategies and drive cohesive business outcomes.
  • Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives on renewals performance.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate findings and provide visibility into sales performance and operational metrics for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior-level decision-makers within the company.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in sales operations and recommend innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement. 

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Business, or related field. Data and Analytics focus, or certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in operations research, data analysis, and quantitative modeling, preferably in a sales or business operations context.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling is required, and additional proficiency in programming languages such as SOQL, SQL, and Python for data pulls out of Salesforce, data analysis, and modeling a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical senior-level stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is required, and additional experience with Communication tools (e.g., Outreach) is preferred. Additional experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI) is a plus.
  • Experience with running communication analytics out of Outreach, or additional experience with tools such as RenewTrack, iAsset, Channel Mechanics, or others a plus. 

In Canada, the base salary for this role ranges from $71,000 to $118,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additional compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.  A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
