Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (with flexibility and occasional out-of-hours work)
Benefits: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, Bonus after probation period, profit share scheme starting 2025

We are recruiting on behalf of a market leader in bespoke exterior steel fabricated products, delivering excellence across the UK with over 150 concurrent projects. About the Role:

As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the company's operations from order to delivery, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and Implementing Strategies: Create operational strategies to increase capacity, drive growth, and achieve business objectives.
  • Managing Daily Operations: Oversee design, purchasing, scheduling, project management, and installations to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators and metrics, developing action plans for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other functional leaders to ensure operations are aligned with overall business goals.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of success with at least 5 years of experience in an operations or general management role within a fast-paced, £15M+ construction-related project management business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • A deep understanding of business operations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in steel fabrication would be beneficial but not essential.
