Operations Manager IT (REF2373O)

Our digital hub „Credit & Collection” within business domain "Billing, Collections & Credit Risk” are responsible for the value streams of managing customer risk, managing payment transactions and creating credit and goodwill. These financial processes are closely linked in a convergent system in order to constantly improve the satisfaction of our customers. Almost 20,000 users of our service companies DTSE & DTS receive all the necessary information from us and control their business using our applications. Our hub currently includes 10 applications distributed to 12 teams at locations in Germany, Hungary and Slovakia. Three teams are in the context of ERP@Motion and will be converted into a “Team as a Service” model. Around 120 FTEs are currently developing and managing these applications.

As Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing the technical operation of the SAP system DKK_NEU in our hub. DKK_NEU has been managed and jointly operated by a small team for several years. This means that there is team-internal knowledge and support for the required tasks.

Responsibilities:

1. Job Scheduling and Management:
   • Organize and oversee daily, weekend, and monthly tasks using UC4.
   • Set up and configure UC4 for efficient job control.
2. Scripting:
   • Use UC4 scripting language (Job Control Language) for automating tasks.
3. Client Administration:
   • Manage client configurations and settings in the UC4 environment.
4. Job Monitoring:
   • Keep an eye on jobs in UC4 to ensure they run smoothly and fix any issues that come up.
5. Technical Responsibilities:
   • Take charge of ensuring proper operation within the designated area.
   • Monitor processes, identify errors, and take action to resolve malfunctions.

1. Experience:
   • Substantial experience in UC4 administration and job control.
   • Knowledge of SAP and experience integrating SAP jobs with UC4.
   • Familiarity with billing processes is a plus.
2. Technical Skills:
   • Proficient in UC4 scripting language (Job Control Language).
   • Experience with client administration in UC4.
   • Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Nimbus.
   • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
3. Language Skills:
   • Fluent in German (C1 proficiency level).
   • Proficient in English (B2 proficiency level).
