Job Overview: The Operations Manager will be at the helm of our fulfillment operations, ensuring seamless alignment between client vacancies and candidate placements. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to streamline operations, enhance cost and time efficiencies, and navigate the complexities of global employment laws and regulations. The Operations Manager will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional recruitment and outsourcing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfillment Operations Management:
- Oversee the entire fulfillment lifecycle, from identifying client vacancies to the successful placement of candidates.
- Streamline processes to ensure a smooth match between client needs and candidate skills.
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency by reducing fulfillment timelines and costs.
- Onboarding and Employment Operations:
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for candidates, ensuring a positive experience and compliance with all relevant legal requirements.
- Coordinate employment operations across multiple regions, adapting processes to meet the legal and regulatory demands of each location.
- Work with HR and legal teams to ensure all employment contracts and practices adhere to local laws.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, including recruitment, HR, legal, and finance, to ensure alignment and efficiency in operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, clients, and vendors to support fulfillment and operational goals.
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on changes in employment law and regulations in regions where Octopus operates, ensuring that all operations are compliant.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks associated with employment and fulfillment operations.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance service delivery.
- Drive initiatives that promote innovation in fulfillment and onboarding processes, keeping Octopus at the forefront of industry best practices.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on operational performance, including key metrics such as time-to-fill, cost per hire, and candidate satisfaction.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the recruitment, staffing, or outsourcing industry.
- Strong understanding of global employment laws and regulations, with experience managing operations across multiple regions.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and driving cost-effective solutions.
