This flexible approach gives team members the best of both worlds: plenty of focus time along with in-person collaboration that fosters trust and unlocks creativity.

Grammarly team members in this role must be based in the United States, and they must be able to collaborate in person 2 weeks per quarter, traveling if necessary to the hub(s) where the team is based.

As our user base grows, this role will be instrumental in providing exceptional editing services and facilitating new feature launches. By optimizing processes and overseeing the recruitment and retention of skilled Editors, the role will enhance our team's capacity to enhance our algorithms through invaluable human feedback.

You will also develop an understanding of the role of 5–7 Editorial specialists within the team and begin identifying team member strengths. Lastly, you will get up to speed with the team’s overall goals, systems, and the editor recruiting and quality management process.
  2. By month three, you will source and run at least one internal initiative, assembling a group of editors to evaluate the quality of a new algorithm before a feature launch. Additionally, you will begin managing internal knowledge bases and communications. Lastly, you will begin driving the Freelancer Editor recruiting process from end to end.
  3. By month six, you will identify priority areas for improvement to streamline operations by consolidating features across annotation systems currently in use. You will also own and grow community initiatives to drive team-wide engagement for Editors and Editorial specialists.
