POSITION PURPOSE:
As an Operations Excellence Supervisor, you will be a pivotal figure in fostering a culture of Lean Sigma methodologies within our organization. Your expertise will lead to the identification and execution of improvement projects that enhance customer value, streamline processes, and elevate overall performance.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Develop in-depth understanding of Lean Sigma philosophy and methods as demonstrated by successful training and certification in these areas.
- Analyze existing processes to identify areas of improvement, targeting the elimination of non-value-added activities
- Lead the identification of improvement projects that align with the organization’s goals and customer expectations
- Drive the transformation of traditional practices by leading breakthrough improvements and advocating for change
- Motivate and influence cross-functional teams to embrace process changes and continuously seek opportunities for improvement
- Educate, train, and mentor individuals across the organization in Lean/Sigma principles, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen and continuous improvement projects, focusing on enhancing production line efficiency and effectiveness
- Implement standardized improvements that drive sustainable results in alignment with operational goals
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years manufacturing experience (technical/ manufacturing).
- Certified in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt certification preferred).
- Proven experience in leading Lean Sigma initiatives, driving process improvements, and achieving tangible results.
- Proficient in facilitating Kaizen events and implementing Lean tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and evaluate data.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working across departments.
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts in a clear and relatable manner.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
