Operations Excellence Senior Analyst

The Operations Excellence Senior Analyst will be a key member of the Operations Excellence team, working closely and supporting the CFO to manage and execute a diverse portfolio of operational initiatives aimed at optimizing the Cost of Sales (CoS), the company's most critical cost driver. While reporting to the CFO, this role is operationally focused and will lead efforts in process improvements, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance operational efficiency. Ideal candidates will have a background in operations, engineering, or management consulting, with a strong emphasis on optimizing human capital intensive operations.

This wide-ranging role will be responsible for driving the following areas:

Operational Strategy and Process Improvement

·         Collaborate with the CFO and operations teams to design and implement process improvement strategies that drive down the Cost of Sales.

·         Conduct process mapping and identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies across operational workflows.

·         Lead initiatives to refine and streamline operational processes, aligning with best practices and business goals.

·         Propose and drive the adoption of operational tools and technologies to enhance team efficiency.

Training and Capacity Building

·         Develop and oversee training programs aimed at upskilling the operations teams, ensuring they adopt efficiency-focused practices.

·         Work with departmental leaders and the Professional Development team to ensure alignment of training objectives with operational performance goals in CoS.

·         Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements based on CoS operational performance feedback.

Incentive Structures and Performance Management

·         Provide input and propose changes in performance incentive programs that drive desired behaviors within the operations teams to optimize CoS.

·         Establish performance benchmarks and monitor KPIs to evaluate the success of incentive programs and operational initiatives in terms of CoS.

·         Provide detailed follow-up on CoS performance achievements, addressing any gaps or discrepancies, and recommending corrective actions.

Reporting and Performance Tracking

·         Establish and manage regular reporting processes that provide insights into operational performance and Cost of Sales trends in cooperation with the FP&A and BI teams.

·         Work closely with the operations teams to track and analyze CoS KPIs, identifying areas and action points for improvement.

·         Curate reports and presentations for senior management and field operations, outlining successes, challenges, and opportunities for further CoS optimization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Project Management

·         Act as a liaison between the operations team and senior leadership, ensuring alignment of CoS operational goals with broader business objectives.

·         Lead cross-functional projects that involve multiple departments and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

·         Work with product development teams to ensure that tools and solutions used in operations are designed for efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance or a related field. MBA or a master’s degree is advantageous.

Experience:

·         5-7 years of experience in operations management, process improvement, or management consulting.

·         A solid track record of leading operational excellence initiatives, with a focus on Cost of Sales reduction in human capital intensive operations.

·         Prior experience working in a business services environment is preferred.

Skills:

·         Strong project management and process optimization skills.

·         Advanced proficiency in data analysis, operational metrics tracking, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).

·         Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.

·         Ability to influence and drive change across various operational teams and functions.

·         Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
