Position Summary:
Responsible for the direction and performance of the PMC team for the first year of operations and maintenance (O&M) of the facilities. Manage, monitor, and control the O&M Contractors performance with respect to safety, cost, schedule, and quality through to completion of the commissioning and turn-over activities. Provide operations and maintenance advise to the Company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Implement and maintain an effective safety process as related to O&M activities
•Implementing and maintaining effective management, planning, and cost control systems for the O&M phase of the Project
•Advise the Company of developments that may affect HSE, operation & maintenance budgets, or quality of product
•Maintain a risk register and effective mitigation plans for potential risks during operations & maintenance
•Review the O&M Contractors procedures and plans
•Implement and maintain an effective quality assurance process as related to O&M activities
•Review and approve all Personnel assignments to the O&M PMC team
•Be knowledgeable of O&M Contract terms and conditions and administering the Contract in accordance with policies & procedures for the maximum benefit of the Company
•Manage subordinates through goal setting, counseling, and standards of performance
•Establish and maintain communications to ensure accurate and timely flow of information
•Provide regular O&M status reports to Company
Proficient in managing and directing people, communications (both written and verbal), negotiation skills, and computer skills with Microsoft Office products
•B.Sc. in any engineering discipline or equivalent College degree or equivalent experience
•15 to 20 years industry experience
•8 to 10 years experience in operations & maintenance of similar facilities
From the commencement of Commissioning activities to the end of the first year of operations.
