- Receive shipments from and sort them appropriately into respective locations.
- Identify damaged shipments seen in the course of offloading or onloading and report same to the Supervisor for immediate intervention.
- Load outbound shipments into GIGL vehicles for onward delivery.
- Protect shipment from damages by complying with the Standard Operating Procedure on shipment handling (e.g keep upright, fragile etc).
- Ensure strategic loading of shipments in vehicles by observing the First-In-Last-Out and Last-In-First-Out principle.
- Assist with applying appropriate scans to ensure visibility of shipment as they move through the network and achieve zero misroute of shipments.
- Assist with the proper documentation and safety of all parcels sent and received.
- Eliminate the possibility of shipping contraband and prohibited goods by ensuring 100% inspection of all parcels brought for shipping.
- Sorting, bagging, debagging and scanning shipments to various locations, states & regions.
- Drive client satisfaction by ensuring that services are delivered according to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Other duties as the exigencies of work may demand.
- Minimum of HND/BSc from a government recognized tertiary institution
- 1-2 years working in logistics company.
- Customer-centric, tech-Savvy, young and personable
- Evidence of mandatory NYSC scheme or Exemption Certificate.
- Must reside on the mainland.
