Retro Biosciences is a well-funded, untraditional bio startup. Our mission is to extend healthy human lifespan by 10 years. We believe the deeper, underlying causes of age-related diseases are the untreated mechanisms of aging itself. 


We are looking for a highly organized and self-motivated Operations Admin who craves a challenge and feels energized to roll up their sleeves. You will work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment as a member of the Retro Operations team. Within your role you will juggle multiple balls and contribute to various initiatives and special projects.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist with cross-functional company projects
  • Work with internal and external parties to get things done
  • Plan and execute conference and event logistics (eg travel, hotels, booking, invitations)
  • Help with vendor sourcing and management
  • Serve as basic or first-line IT support (printer setup, cables, connectors, conference room, troubleshooting)
  • Perform standard administrative duties (e.g., scheduling meetings, etc.)
  • Cover occasional “front desk” operations including greeting visitors & deliveries
  • Help with occasional furniture assembly and other practical tasks
  • Be on-call for emergency coverage some weekends and holidays

You might thrive in this role if you:

  • Have 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Boast strong collaboration and communication skills across levels and job functions
  • Have experience working at a startup or a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in software tools such as Google Suite, Expensify, Asana, and Slack
  • Are able to balance multiple competing priorities and resolve problems, often under time pressure
  • Are resourceful and can figure out how to solve unusual tasks
  • Are energetic, adaptable, and happy to jump in and help with any task that comes your way 
  • Are well-organized, with a sharp eye for detail

The salary range for this role is $75,000-$85,000/year. Total compensation also includes generous equity and benefits including:
