The Risk Manager will report to the Senior Risk Manager: EMEA. As Risk Manager you will manage current and potential risks in "the business" as part of the 1LoD Risk team. You will make accurate risk mitigating recommendations to implement internal controls, transfer risk or avoid the risk related business and ensure that we are adequately protected against loss. International travel may be required from time-to-time.

Good risk-based judgement skills including the ability to assess risks with commercial needs.
What you'll do
Perform ad hoc gap analysis to the standard control framework and global policies of the Company
Prepare risk reports and presentation material for management and risk management committees.
Contribute to the regulatory/other projects e.g. DORA/NIS2/GDPR support
Perform ad-hoc and planned monitoring reviews (e.g. RCSAs) to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of implemented controls
Escalate identified risk issues to management and governance forums (2LOD and 3LOD) and work in partnership with the business and oversight functions to ensure risk management mitigation plans are adequate and implemented
Establish and measure our 'risk appetite', i.e. the level of risk they are prepared to accept
Guide risk education to staff to build risk and policy awareness
Be role model for high personal and corporate ethical values and standards of integrity.
Provision of proactive support, as an advisor to the first line teams in building their responsibilities as set out in the Enterprise Risk Management Framework

Relevant degree and advanced diplomas in Business, Commerce or Management Studies (BCOM/Informatics), Risk Management and Audit.
2+ years of experience in risk management or consultancy.
Experience in an audit environment and information security will be an advantage
