Operational Risk Manager (d/f/m) at Solaris

Your Role 

  • Operational fulfilment of risk management and controlling processes (identification, assessment control, monitoring and communication) related to Operational Risk Management.
  • Development and Maintenance System of Key Risk Indicators and Risk Early Detection Procedures Financial and Non-Financial Risk.
  • Preparation of risk reports and presentation to stakeholders if requested.
  • Support in the development of staff in ORM.
  • Coordinate and participate in internal/external meetings with Auditors, regulators and other third party stakeholders if requested.
  • Full compliance with Operational Risk Management processes
  • Contribute to Audit requests and remediations
  • Perform review of new processes of our process inventory
  • Support business areas in the ongoing implementation of the measures
  • Enhance the OpRisk Management framework, governance and procedures
  • Governance and execution of loss events procedures KRIs, Risk Grid, MOPS, MAA

  • Higher education degree or banking working experiences.
  • Extensive relevant work experience in Risk Management in other Financial Institutions or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of software for risk management.
  • Good knowledge of banking law and regulatory standards.
  • Strong communication skills - C1 level English and minimum B1 level German language skills.
