We’re looking for an Operational Excellence & PMO Lead to help us solve key challenges and reach core objectives. This role will report to the Senior Director of Operational Excellence & PMO.
Why is this role so important?
The Operational Excellence & PMO team works closely with leadership and senior management to drive key cross-company initiatives from initial scoping to implementation.
As Similarweb grows, leading strategic initiatives and solving key business challenges becomes crucial across the organization, driving us toward our core objectives.
In addition to driving operational excellence, the Operational Excellence & PMO team also owns the Post-Merger Integration (PMI) practice, leading complex integrations of acquired companies.
Our executive management needs leaders who can drive impact at the company level, responsibilities may include:....
- Lead cross-company projects from concept to execution
- Act as a unique ‘problem solver,’ tackling the organization’s most complex challenges, identifying root causes, designing and implementing solutions
- Drive complex Post-Merger Integration projects throughout the acquisition integration lifecycle
About the team
The Operational Excellence & PMO team is composed of ex-management consultants who serve as trusted advisers to the CEO and executive team. As such, we are always tasked with unique challenges and are exposed to many interesting aspects of the business.
This is the perfect job for someone who:
- 3+ years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm,
and/or proven experience in managing complex cross-company initiatives in a software company.
- Holds a B.A./M.A. and/or MBA (a leading global MBA program is preferred).
- Is an excellent problem solver, capable of and enjoying driving tactical implementation/project execution.
- Is data-driven and loves to search for and collect data, applying quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify and solve problems.
- Has excellent interpersonal skills, is a team player, and has strong communication and presentation skills.
- Has a huge appetite to continuously learn and evolve.
- Has excellent stakeholder management skills (including with senior executives).
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
